What Does Our Lifetime Warranty Cover?
Our lifetime warranty covers all furniture against defects in materials, structural integrity, and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner, under normal residential use.
If at any point you experience a structural or manufacturing issue due to workmanship or materials, we will repair or replace the affected piece at our discretion, free of charge.
What Isn’t Covered?
While we strive to ensure every piece is built to withstand daily use, our warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear (including minor scratches, scuffs, or marks from regular use)
Damage from misuse or accidents (e.g., dropping, improper handling, or transport damage after initial delivery)
Environmental damage (e.g., prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, humidity fluctuations, or moisture)
Improper care or maintenance (such as using harsh cleaning chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials)
Alterations or repairs performed by anyone other than JLD Fine Woodworking or our authorised representatives
Making a Warranty Claim
Should an issue arise, please contact us promptly with the following information:
Your full name and contact details
Photographs clearly showing the problem or damage
A brief description of the issue and how it occurred
We will assess your claim promptly and, if eligible, arrange to inspect, repair, or replace your piece as soon as possible.
Our Commitment to You
Even if your issue isn’t covered by the warranty, we still want to help. We’re always available to offer advice on care, maintenance, or repairs, and can recommend trusted professionals if required.
